Combine sugar, rum, and triple sec in a small sauce pan. Heat on medium-low heat until sugar melts.  Pour into a large pitcher. Add fruits and cinnamon sticks to the pitcher. Cover with 1 bottle of Rioja red wine and chill for several hours.

To serve, place 2-3 frozen peach slices into a wine glass or goblet and pour spiced wine over them. Top with a splash of club soda if desired.
