This is a simple pan sausage recipe that GP (my grandfather) would make every year, often with the venison my Uncle Ernest or Squatty Lyons would give him. Squatty was a very old friend of GP’s and anyone from Houston will know that Squatty was the Commissioner for close to 30 years. We always had this sausage on Easter morning after sunrise service or at other family gatherings when everyone would congregate at GP's house.
