Aunt Lona was my great aunt, and I absolutely adored her. There was not much she could do wrong in my mind, she was a talented singer that sang professional radio in the 40's, ran with the likes of George Burns, Gracie Allen, Peter Lowry, Mickey Rooney,
was an award winning artist that taught me how to paint and china paint, an amazing cook, and she spoiled us rotten. While we loved her cooking, we did not like cleaning up after her in the kitchen as it always looked like a tornado had blown through
it when she was finished. Here is one of her handwritten recipes that fell out of one of the cookbooks I inherited.
